Kemono fursuit commissions

Custom Kemono Fursuits

Kemono suits take their look from anime and Japanese character design: large glossy eyes, small muzzles and soft, rounded faces. We build Kemono fursuits around your character, from a single Kemono head to a full Kig-style costume.

How it works

From reference sheet to doorstep

  1. Step 1: Share your character

Send your reference sheet and tell us what you want made. No ref sheet? Our artists can draw one first.

  2. Step 2: Receive your quote

We review your design and reply with a personalised quote and estimated timeline.

  3. Step 3: Confirm & pay deposit

Approve the specifications and terms. Orders over $500 start with an upfront payment; smaller orders are paid in full.

  4. Step 4: Measurements & approvals

For bodysuits and paws we ask for your measurements so the suit fits you. Design details are confirmed with you as we go.

  5. Step 5: Build with WIP updates

Your suit is patterned, foam-carved and hand-sewn. You get WIP photos at every major stage and can request revisions.

  6. Step 6: Final approval

You see the finished piece before it ships. Any remaining balance is due before shipping.

  7. Step 7: Shipping & aftercare

We ship worldwide with tracking details and care guidance. Commissions include a 6-month limited warranty.

FAQ

Kemono Suits: good to know

What makes a fursuit “Kemono”?

Kemono (Japanese for “beast”) suits use anime-style proportions: oversized, often glossy eyes, a short muzzle, rounded cheeks and a cute, doll-like expression. Many have long hair or wigs.

Can my Kemono suit have hair?

Yes. Long hair, braids and fringes are common on Kemono characters, and several of our pieces include them. Show us the hairstyle on your reference and we'll include it in your quote.

What is a Kig?

Kig (from kigurumi) usually means a full-face character head with a doll-like face, often paired with a bodysuit. Our Premium Kig series is made to order and quoted to your design.

What if I don't have a reference sheet?

A clear reference sheet is required before production starts, but you don't need one to ask for a quote. Our artists can draw one for you from your descriptions and sketches.

How are prices determined?

By coverage (head, partial or fullsuit), design complexity, markings, materials and extras. Every quote is an estimate based on your design; final pricing may adjust slightly once details are confirmed.

How long does production take?

It depends on complexity. On average a commission takes about 6 to 12 weeks, and you receive an estimated timeline with your quote.

What payment arrangements are available?

Orders under $500 are paid in full upfront. Orders over $500 need an upfront, non-refundable payment to start, with the balance due before shipping. Payment plans may be available on select orders. We accept PayPal and Stripe.
